Pick of the day #34: Boca Juniors – Union de Santa Fe

March 3, 2013

I must admit that I have almost no knowledge at all about Primera Division in Argentine and I do not have time to analyse team news etc. here. But looking at the statistics alone I think that Boca Juniors are undervalued here. I pick one unit on Boca and will perhaps add another later if I get more information. If anyone who reads this have knowledge or interesting info you are more than welcome to comment here on the blog or write to me on Twitter.

Boca Juniors have had eight wins, 3 drawn games, and no losses at home this season! Away from home they have not done that well and therefore they only sit seventh in the overall 2012-2013 table (I think that the league restarts in 2013…). They have two straight games without a win (a 2-0 loss away to All Boys and a 0-0 draw at home to struggling Tigre). The form might not be great at the moment, but their overall home records interest me.

Union de Santa Fe are performing awful in the league and only have 8 points in 22 games so far (2012-2013). Away from home they have lost nine games, drawn once, and zero wins! This year they have drawn once and lost twice.

If you want to back this bet I suggest you to analyse the teams in more depth than I have done.
