Pick of the day #8: FC Blau-Weiss Linz – SV Horn

November 2, 2012

Genoa did not manage to score last night. I hope I will get back to the winning streak right away with a game from Austrian Erste Division.

FC Blau-Weiss Linz host SV Horn and I believe that Horn will win this. However, there are always a great risk of ending in a draw when I bet for away teams, so I stick to the DnB bet.

FC Blau-Weiss Linz have only one win so far this season (away against TSV Hartberg) and at home they have no wins, one draw, and six losses in seven games (six consecutive losses). SV Horn have 3-1-3 away from home and is the third best away team in the league. Last away game they managed to beat Austria Lustenau, who top the table! After that they won against derby rivals SKN St. Pölten (2-1).

The two teams have met once this season. In SV Horns home ground they played 1-1.

SV Horn have midfielder Marcel Toth out due to suspension. Two players are on the injury list, but none that have participated in the first team this season.

Blau-Weiss have four players out. Srdjan Pavlov (10 games thsi season), Daniel Guselbauer (10 games), Boris Arapovic (2 games), and Martin Kreuzriegler (0 games) are missed due to injuries or flu.

SV Horn players celebrate their recent derby win against SKN St. Pölten.
