Pick of the day: Dessel Sport – Lommel United

October 27, 2012

I plan to pick one bet each day in the following and present them here on the blog. The first pick comes from Belgium.

Dessel Sport will play neighbours Lommel United today at 19:30 CET in the EXQI League in Belgium (second league). Dessel have three wins, one draw, and one loss at home so far this season (3-5-2 in total). Lommel United have one win, two draws, and two losses away from home (2-5-3 in total). Dessels only two losses have been at home to second placed Westerlo and away to Eupen in the opening round of the season. They are non-beaten in seven consecutive games in the league.

Moreover, in their ten games this season Dessel have six clean sheets. Last game they won against Sporting Sint-Niklass in a game that has been reported as rather crappy. The game before that they managed 0-0 away to Eendracht Aalst, a very good home team.

Lommel United have no win in their last five games (the game before that was a chock win away agaginst Westerlo).

Unfortunately, Dessel will miss Petersen due to suspension and  Van Hout and Modubi due to injuries, but I can’t see them loosing this game. However, the probability of a draw is big and I prefer to play a home win or draw rather than a DnB 1. The odds for Dessel +0.5 (home win or draw) is good!

Game: Dessel Sport – Lommel United

Bet: Dessel +0.5

Odds: 1.45 (Bet365)

Value: 7/10

Result: 2-1, +3.15 units

Units in total: +3.15

Total wins-voids-losses: 1-0-0
