Bets of the weekend
The leagues in England are starting up again and I decided to put in some very small bets. In general I don’t like to bet big, and especially not in the opening game of the season.
Fulham – Norwich: Over 2.5 goals
Both teams generally played games with a lot of goals involved last season. In average Fulham scored 1.89 goals per home game last season and conceded 1.37. Norwich scored 1.26 goals per game away from home and conceded 1.89. This is of course the first game of the season and might cause cautious teams, but I hope for an early goal that loosens things. Final score 3-1?
Birmingham – Charlton: Home win
Birmingham’s players don’t have to focus on any European games this year. Therefore their hope for promotion might be fulfilled this year. First they must beat newly promoted Charlton.
EDIT: WHAT WAS I THINKING?
Everton – Man United: Everton not to loose second half
I will check the score at half time in this game since Everton have not lost a 2nd half in all 11 of their last 11 home games v Grade A sides!
